ABOUT US

Alpena County Regional Airport (APN) is owned and operated by the County of Alpena and governed by a three-member airport committee and one alternate comprising of Alpena County Commissioners.

Committee Meetings

The Airport Committee typically meets on the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m. at the County Annex building in the Howard Male Conference room, 719 W. Chisholm St., Alpena.  Meetings are subject to change so please call ahead to confirm at 989-354-2907.

Airport Administration

Airport office hours are Monday – Friday  8:00 am – 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm. Phone: 989-354-2907

General Aviation Services

APN provides a full array of general aviation services and activities, including maintenance, fuel, and flight instruction. APN is also host to Chapter 1021 of the Experimental Aircraft Association.

Hangars

Hangar sites are available for the construction of tee or box hangars. Long-term leases, electric, water, and high-speed internet access to the sites. For more information contact the airport manager at 989-354-2907.
