Odin Knine

Odin Knine is our volunteer wildlife officer at the Alpena County Regional Airport.  His duties are to help control wildlife on the runway and taxiways at the airport with assistance of his handler, Jay Hollister.  Jay works for Alpena Ground Services at the airport.  Odin does not harm any wildlife but does help get them off the runway and taxiways to help clear the way for the pilots.

More information will be coming soon.  You can also visit him on Facebook at Odin Knine.

Attached are a few pictures of Odin.

We are asking for donations to help purchase a protective vest and a trauma first aid kit to help keep Odin safe when he is working on the airfield and runways keeping the birds away for the planes and passengers.  To help Odin with these expenses you can donate to the OdinGoFundMe website at http://www.gofundme.com/2czgtj8.
